ABSTRACT
Construction work is one of the sectors most at risk of work accidents; this is because it is complex work starting from the use of special equipment and materials, the use of large numbers of workers and open work locations as well as differences in conditions plus the lack of occupational safety and health management, with the contribution The number of work accident cases each year is 32% of the total number of work accident cases in Indonesia. Therefore, there is a need for risk management to create zero accidents in the construction sector. So, this research aims to identify, assess and make a recommended control plan to reduce work risks. Data were collected using observation and interviews. The research method used was qualitative analysis using the HIRADC method to assess the level of risk and quantitative using the Job Safety Analysis method to determine the control design. Based on the analysis above, three jobs were found in the medium category, namely paving, U ditch and ordinary earth excavation, with a risk value of 9. At the same time, the backfill work had a large category with a risk value of 15. Then, the recommended control plan was carried out by setting targets and control programs, including making work instructions and standard operating procedures, all of which must be documented as a guide or pocketbook for occupational safety and health, conducting training for workers regarding planning for work protective equipment, personal protective equipment and safety signs and their use with indicators of achievement in the form of determining pictures of the location of the signs and their specifications which are delivered in the field, procurement of work protective equipment and personal protective equipment and used by workers. as well as preparing technical engineering related to work safety in the area.
